The community is urged to avoid a Glendale shopping centre following reports of an unattended suspicious package in the area. Emergency services were called to a bus stop on Stockland Drive about 9.35am on Wednesday 29 April. While officers from Lake Macquarie Police District have secured the area, an operation is continuing. In the meantime, Stockland Drive remains closed in both directions, while the retail complex has been evacuated.
