An overnight fire engulfed several business along the Hart Highway in Prince George. Few details are officially available but photos and eyewitness accounts indicate the fire broke out around 2:30 a.m. PT Wednesday in the Northwood Plaza, which is home to a liquor store, motel and Nelly's Pub, a popular performing venue for local musicians. By 7:30 a.m., flames had largely been contained, but smoke was still rising from the building.
