A housebuilder has launched a search to find a local hero to open a new Doncaster area housing development. The Yorkshire division of national homebuilder, Bellway Homes is looking for nominations for a local hero or personality to open its new Harworth and Bircotes development, Simpson Park on Saturday 23 May. As with all of its developments, Bellway’s aim is very much to build a new community, and it’s that community-centric approach that led to the decision to put the responsibility for the opening of Simpson Park in the hands of the local population.
