A man is being questioned by gardaรญ investigating the death of a woman following an assault in Waterford city. Emergency services responded to an incident at a property in the Grange Heights housing estate at around 6.15pm yesterday. A woman, aged in her 40s, was discovered with serious injuries. She was taken to University Hospital Waterford, where she was pronounced dead a short time later. A man, in his 40s, was arrested at the scene.
