A new opinion poll suggests a rise in support for Independent Ireland and Aontú. The Sunday Independent/Ireland Thinks Poll puts Independent Ireland on 9%, a rise of three percentage points on the last such poll in April. Support for Aontú is up one point to 7%, putting the two parties on a combined 16% of the vote. TDs from both Independent Ireland and Aontú spoke at various fuel protests last month. The survey suggests support for Fianna Fáil has fallen, down two points to 17%. Taoiseach Micheál Martin has also seen a six-point drop in his approval rating among the voters surveyed. Sinn Féin
